Smoked Hot Paprika
Our Smoked Hot Paprika starts with only the freshest red ripe pimento peppers that are dried in adobe smoke houses. These pimentos are gently smoked over slow-burning oak planks. These beautiful smoked peppers are then stone ground into a silky smooth texture. The end result is a deep dark earthy red color with a touch of heat (about a 2-3 on the heat scale).
Its characteristic dark red color also spreads evenly throughout any dish. The aroma and color draws you in and the rich taste will keep you coming back for more.
Smoked Paprika adds an authentic flavor to paellas,a key ingredient in Spanish sausage chorizo, pork loin, pork barbecues, chicken kebabs, robust beef and lamb stews.
Paprika partners well with allspice, caraway, cardamom, garlic, ginger, oregano, parsely, pepper, rosemary, saffron, thyme and turmeric.
