Smoked Hot Paprika
Our Smoked Hot Paprika starts with only the freshest red ripe pimento peppers that are dried in adobe smoke houses. These pimentos are gently smoked over slow-burning oak planks. These beautiful smoked peppers are then stone ground into a silky smooth texture. The end result is a deep dark earthy red color with a touch of, but not too much, heat. The color is deep and red and the aroma and flavor are rich and smoky. Smoked Paprika adds an authentic flavor to paellas,a key ingredient in Spanish sausage chorizo, pork loin, pork barbecues, chicken kebabs, robust beef and lamb stews. Paprika partners well with allspice, caraway, cardamom, garlic, ginger, oregano, parsely, pepper, rosemary, saffron, thyme and turmeric.
